The Holistic Approach
For a healthy Lifestyle

General guideline to preventative health

Each individual requires a different way of taking care of their bodies. There is no ‘specific’ diet, exercise or individual spiritual belief fit for everyone. Your ‘right’ path should be tailored to your own needs. It is important to follow your instincts, your inner self to know which is best for your body. With practice, good habits are restored leading to great health.

A general guideline to wellness follows:

Spiritual- Ethics and morals

-Giving through service, this feels rewarding

-Tolerance and flexibility with yourself and others. Avoid judging upon assumption but rather upon facts and with an open heart and mind.

-Forgiveness towards you and others

-Taking care of your environment

-Meditation or prayer

-Family and leisure time management

Emotional/Psychological- Love yourself

-Respect and accept yourself, change what you wish to change for yourself

-Goal setting towards a healthy lifestyle (be organized)

-Ask yourself « am I being fulfilled? » Socially, spiritually, with the ones I love, with myself?

-Learn to be positive (I am lovable, capable, learning and growing)

-Solve your problems in a rational healthy way

Physical/Social- Take care of your body from intake

-Food intake (balanced diet)

-Job- try to be working in a field you enjoy. If you want to keep it but dislike it then set goals to enjoy life around the job field so that the job does not depress you.

-Rest- sleeping is important for the mind, body and spirit, we solve problems with sleep and   become more alert afterwards, it feels good, The body has time to heal while you are settled, it is the least stressful moment you have to heal quicker.

-Exercise- Aerobics, walking, yoga, Taichi, find something you love to do to keep your body fit and well.

* Remember- there is moderation to all things.

It is important to think ‘NATURAL’ as nature intended. These include:

AIR -ionized air, clean and nourished for our lungs and circulation, it contains healthy oxygen, windows in the morning should be opened for a few minutes to circulate clean air in and bad air out with help of incense or sagebrush.

WATER -elimination (filtered, non-polluted and non chlorinated water)

FOOD -nourishment and grounding base material (natural no chemicals, dyes, additives or preservatives.) Select foods from the season and your region, may avoid food allergies. There is a spiritual reason to this thought. These are just basic examples.

This may seem like allot to have to swallow and do. Try it for 2 weeks, the changes are amazing and should be enough to restore some healthy habits.

Energy Work can balance our vulnerable chakras in order to intuitively know (instinct) how to care for ourselves and develop a sense of food intuition (your body tells you what it ‘feels’ like eating in a healthy manner). Massage helps you get in touch with your body and the world around you more on a physical level. Not to mention, relieving pain.
